Clear front signal lenses - GTV6?

Post by dan668s »

Hi,

I've seen pictures of GTV6 with clear front signal lenses, which replaces the orange one's integrated in the front bumper.

Does anyone know where to buy these?
Does lenses from other cars fit?

I think that you'll have to look for tuning parts for german cars beemers, VW's. It's very polular to fit "clear" lights into these cars. As GTV6 front turnisgnals are nothing exotic in form I think it would be pretty easy to find something fit the GTV. Try looking at Hella for starters.

When my front indicators dot damaged by some dirtbag, i could not find any original parts so i retro fitted some out of a n12 nissan pulsar. very similar size but very shallow.

Looked fine just had to make some blocks to space it out from the back.

Heres a pic with the retro fitted indicators.

And a side view to see how far out they stick out.

As long as they are water and dust proof, they look fine.

So, if I had to do the same, I would have to import a Nissan Pulsar
to Switzerland as this model does not exist over here ! (joke !)

Anyway, look very close the original. Good job !

Also the indicators from a citroen C15 van fit, so they tell me. Don't know if you can get them in white though.

I dont know about the fornt indecators, but I have clear side repeaters from a 2000 VW Golf Chico on my car and it looks much better than the orange repeaters.
