Thanks. I was starting to lose hope as two of my GTv's run 17'' and the other three run 15'' and I find the the handling off the 15'' on tight twisty stuff is superior. So I therefore have got alot of set up to do with the 17'' GTV's. I think I will pay Barry a visit when he gets back from Cape Town as tha national racing was there this weekend. Gossip. Got picture of Barry in Ford shirt setting up the works Ford. TRAITOR. Unfotunately to many politics in the Alfa team.

The wheels and tires I finally decided on

Ronal RT's 17 inch
Goodyear F1 Eagle 205-40-17

I have had two different types of response:

(1) Those are not the standard wheel, why did you do that????

(2) Man that looks good!!!

Jes, we're still close enough to 'April fool's day' for a good laugh, so have a look at some...bargain wheels: http://www.81x.com/AlfaSZ18/Wheels

Great quality and looks, but....

Holy smoke - but in terms of huge Alfa wheels I can't think of anything more appropriate. But, that borders the cost of a complete US verde, or a complete RS Racing suspension kit.

Still wondering what they weigh in 17x8ish... Is it all looks?

A new Alfisti in the making :D 2 1/2 years? Looks similar in size to my son.

Yeah, if the tires were off the rims that would have been an excellent opportunity to weigh them. I have found weights reported by manufacturers to be somewhat optimistic at times, and a real measurement would have been neat. But if the 18" are lighter than the stock 16", they must be approaching 1 lbs/inch - pretty good. Anyway, it was mostly of academic interest since I'm not in the market.

But they sure look great!

I have an Alfetta GT and i like the team dynamics Pro Race 1 wheels , they're the lightest. right now i have 14X6 wheels with 195/60 and 235/60. makes it look like a funny car (haha) and it handles with no alfa justice. im going to lower it and i want to know what the offset is to fit 205/45-17 fr, and 235/40-17 rear. I'm thinking 35mm front and 25-30mm rear, but i dont know. and does ET mean something besides mm offset :?:

Has anybody fitted 16" OZ Superturismo GT wheels in a GTV6? I think they would look nice, but I'd like to see any pic before.

I have those on my 75...

Did a test fitting on a friends GT last winter, looked crazy! :D
I snapped a pic too, need to find it though.

Maybe I should switch the OZ's over to my race GTV someday and take som pictures, that would be interesting actually.
