In the middle of a mini resto on my 3.0V6 75, and replacing all bushes as I go so its a tight and close to new as possible.

So I got this new bush for the front A Frame

But I'm blowed if I can get ti to fit.

I've purnt out the old bush completely and frozen the new one, then heated the hole with a blowtorch for a long while until very hot.

But the bush still seem to big, it won't even start into the hole.

Any tips?

That's for the upper arm?

Those are not easy to fit. Need a press to get them in. The difference in size is quite big but it will fit when pressed in the right way.

I actually broke my 'made in China' vice while trying to get it in... I suspect the vice was cast in some poor chinese farmer backyard using scrapped Jap-cars for the metal.

But that's the rear triangle? I thought you were asking about the front arms...

Sorry mate, Id seen it refered to as the A Frame, De Dion, but basically yes its the rear triangle that the wheels attach to and the gearbox sits on

Mount it on a drill, take sandpaper and make it for just a bit smaller. Then make a conical profile on one side (that side will penetrate)
Use few bigger washers and screw to pull bushing in.

Don't heat/freeze anything, just apply a bit of oil.
