Any guys here running RSR coilovers with soft springs?

Ever since riding in a fellow BB'ers car with RSR coilovers I've been smitten by the ride quality of the shocks, even with him using the stiffest spring rates.

So, anybody here using RSR with softer/softest spring rates? Does it still feel almost jarring on the medium/big bumps and dips?

Also, would it be a bad idea to use a longer spindle with the front coilovers? I'd be looking at using a longer racing spring and a new adapter made up to keep the shocks in their operating range.

Are the rear springs progressive or not?

While I'm here, does anyone know if the rear springs are progressive? The coils wound down to the 2.5" adjuster....tha tshould mean progressive right?

Probably, but not necessarily. As spring rate depends on wire diameter, mean coil diameter and coil density if the mean diameter gets smaller, but the coils are of greater diameter (diameter of the wire) than it can be with the same rate.
Rate=Gd^4/8ND^3
G=Torsional Module
d=wire diameter in inches
N=Number of Active Coils
D=Mean Coil Diameter in inches
Result will be in lbs/in. Not 1:1 with real life, but good enough
