Schmidt wheels

I think these are pretty hot looking wheels. They look like the originals but in stainless and aluminum. Thinking about 15"x7.5's, a nice size for the GTV6.
Cost:
400 D marks = ?250$ USA (in europe)
or
500$ USA if you get them from the Vegas distributer

Rather spend 1000 than 2000. Anyone else have them....

Good 16" tires with the right circumference is as rare as hens teeth...

Sounds like the Vegas Guy is the way to go. Just had to show this Alfa one more time , such great looks! I am thinking of getting rid of my fat alum bumpers and putting on the stainless re-original's Alfettas...maybe..

Enzo,

Great pics! Looks like this Alfa keeps cool company! Do you know the wheel size or sizes. Stock rims are 15 inch, those in the photos look like 16's, maybe 7.5 width .....? Were they special made by Schmidt to get the offset correct? I spoke with a rep who said the
5 x 98 pattern is no problem.

I have 225 rear tires and 205 fronts

I will ask Armin (the owner) about the exact size of the wheels, ok?

Check out Schmidt web site. Got some funny good video on how to beat up rims on curbs. These are stainless rim alloy center combo.....

ENZO: Thanks!

Enzo:

Not yet, but i will soon. They are the best looking wheels I have seen. Cost is about 2200$ US. I start a new job in August, I just bought a new house, have twins due in July, and my wife wants all new furniture. Yadayadayada....

For some reason, I find myself doing what she asks.....

So...I have to put a hold on the wheels for now. I am still sneaking in less costly Alfa purchases.....

Car will be stripped to bare metal for a paint job, rebuild 3.0 again, new tranny and wheels and exhaust and interior leather.....all by December 2006?
