This time I'm using a cross over pipe under the engine through the rear sump area to clear a normal bonnet. Haven't yet Plasma cut the 3 holes for the External wastegate ,two on the manifold and one for the DP ,this is what I magaged to pull so far. The good news are that one can surprisingly use on...

AFAIK the only company having ready cluch disks for the Alfa is Helix. Max torque capacity is 1428 Nm which should be enough. http://www.helix-autosport.com/groupa.asp If you go for this I have some spare flywheels to match. Thanks Greg ,thanks Micke! Will need a good hard surfaced flywheel when th...

My new Turbo Setup

Will have a go on this new buddy Turbo and see when the mighty powerplant starts to speen its wheel ,modified under-engine tubular manifold ,extra intercooler core and some water injection. I reckon this setup will easily hit real 600 engine HP after tuning on 98Ron  Still looking for a specia...

Speaking about welded bolts. I had to change to longer ones about 10 years ago as my mag rims were really thick. The bolts rotated in the holes and my friendly neighbor welded then to the hub. Removed the box and dedion yesterday and everything still looks fine. Seems like he had done avery good jo...

Very nice stuff Greg! , the silicone hoses are also isolating the intake manifold like a heat barrier ,as silicone is a low thermal conductor. I used 1.75" silicone pipe, 60mm pieces and streched them on the plenum side to fit the 2.0" manifold tubes . 1.75 is only 1mm larger than the size...

Very nice Barry! I used both intercooler and Chargecooler on a 2.0 turbo Fiat\Lancia engine few years ago, I used 2 electric (renault Clio william's) heating recirculation pumps in row and a bmw 528 air con radiator with 2 Spal 9" push fans , it worked brilliantly.... That was a Subaru 2.5T leg...

I used to ount the front 305 discs behind the hub like the stock disc after milling them like on Barry's thread thus not using wheel spacers .

if you change the brake lines to the Calipers the adapter itself is a two hights parallel 75mm pairs of holes thingy which is not two hard to fabricate.

I have, After a while this setup wasn't enough so I switched to 4pots instead of the 2pots,but significat stopping power was truly there. You need to copy the stock caliper's inner spacers pattern plus the Orings phases but make them extra 6 mm in width(I can't remembers the overal width of the new ...

You should have kept them though but make a hose flange on tem and force feed the insides with cold air.
The disks probably cracked because they were were too thin. :?
That's a great idea!
