I see the comments on the recommended lamp sizes to run. For 15 years now, I've used 80 - 100w and 130w ion the Lo/Hi configuration in my BMW M635CSi-s w/Hella lamps. The BMW's electrics are up to the task over the GTV6's by far. Yes, these Hi's can fry a steak and I used to say don't get too close ...

Auto Log in Problem

A few months ago when I'd go to log in, the auto log in feature would not work even though checking the remember me feature and is continuing to do so. This is the only site I'm experiencing this issue. Anybody know what's up or how to correct? No biggie but a little nuisance.

Getting them out was easy. Icannot seem to install them with the bottom clips on. I'll do a new post 'cause I know somebody out thereknows.

I've stripped my car for painting and I want to replce the window gaskets. They appear simple to me but I'm getting no where with local glass guys. I checked JC Whitney with no success so far. Any leads?

Alfaboy, I misread your question and I was referring to the sealing gasket on the car. I just stripped mine for a re-spray. The front door exterior has 3 screws that are accessed from the inside. The strips just pry off with a 3" putty knife is what I use. The only problems you may encounter is if there is rust or someone glued them.

Jef, Rears lowered with the Shankle springs. Every frikkin' bearing, bushing and what not under the car has been changed many w/poly stuff. 80% of the interior's been re-done. FS - Both Tail Light Lens & Housings - SOLD on Evilbay.

Complete Set of RH & LH side tail light lens and housings for sale removed from an '84 GTV6. There are a couple of the usual stress cracks on the lens and the RH side lens is missing 2 studs. The gaskets are intact and are the originals. pm or ring me at 904-210-9242 EST

FS - Transaxle from an '84 GTV6

Transaxle from an '84 GTV6 w/120k miles that worked fine when removed from the car. No clutch and shifter input shaft. The side output shaft splash guards are a tad rusty but the bearings are fine. Best reasonable offer + shipping before eBay. pm or ring me at 904-210-9242 EST.
