I certainly will. That would give me a chance to see your car in person!

BTW, do you race or open track the car at all?

Some of the Ohio roads include Car & Driver's test loop. I am certain I will take the GTV6 down to the Hocking Hills for a good run once I have given her a good checkup. :)

My weekend in a few paragraphs..

I (with some friends) delivered the Camaro to the new owner on Saturday. Since he lived in Wisconsin we agreed to meet at IMS (of the brickyard fame) and conclude the deal. He was, to say the least, very happy as the car looked much better than he thought it would. We then headed over to IRP (Indian...

Mats, my wallet does that already. I think I am in trouble. Carel/Barry: Luckily I grew up in a tough country. Not having to worry about tsotsi's and the tokoloshi makes this a walk in the park. Consider this too, when I was still a Kyalami marshal my wife would come to the races with me. She would ...

The new owner of the Camaro really does not want me to change my mind. I am delivering the car for him this weekend. It is actually a little sad. I have had the Camaro for 5 years and added over 80K miles to the odo. I never had real problems with her except for normal maintenance. As she is sitting...

One step closer to the GTV6

One of the conditions of buying the car was the mutual agreement with the wife that my 92 Camaro had to go. I sold it today.

Bye Camaro:

I wish I was one of those guys! But then, the Alfa is not in the garage yet.

Enjoy the trip and watch out for the "tsotsi's"!

Well, not only can I play cricket but I also found a fairly healthy league here in the US. Not too visible though. I was going to play 2 seasons ago but pulled a back muscle a week before the first game. Funny enough, our team had Indian, Pakistani, West India, South African and American players. Mo...

I guess introductions are in order...

After lurking for a few weeks and since I just paid a deposit on a 1985 GTV6 I should introduce myself and the car. First the car: The picture was taken before the current owner bought the car. He has not done much to it and yes, the yellow stripes will go. There is some rust on it, but it does not ...
