Re: Supercharged 3.0 24V
Well, I’m tempted to take down the photo of the highly boosted hair dryer because JK might incorporate that in his new book

Re: Supercharged 3.0 24V
What the heck, you’re back here! :) Yeah I’m abandoning the Zsupercharged V6 idea. The container rates have quintupled so I might have to do things locally. I discussed this with Alfa Parts Exchange and we will slowly build a 2.0L with darton sleeves, o-ring the liners, wiseco 8.5:1 pistons, maxpeed...

Re: Supercharged 3.0 24V
Ok will look into the new sprintex on a 3.0.
Actually Jim told me to just get a 1.8T So if anyone sees a 1.8T on ebay let me know. Failing that, a 2.0T with Westwood liners, xtreme tuning manifolds.

Supercharged 3.0 24V
Has anyone here built a rotrex supercharged 24v? Thinking of replacing my 3.2 with a 3.0 SC. Not looking for some crazy horsepower figures, maybe 350 bhp? Don't want to re-invent the wheel if someone already has the right piston design. Actually, Steve in Dorset, you've done it, but with a positive ...

Re: Hello from relocation to UK with my two South African GTV6's
Nice ride height Kev, I have the 27mm so I’ve been dreading to lower mine any at all, just too much work. About 1.5 finger gap. I think George’s car has no gap at all?
Good job keeping MD in his place, he needs to realize that triple digits are only good on the speedometer and not on his age.

Re: Wheels
I like the team Dynamics wheels on George’s 75 but TD seems to no longer be producing at the same volume levels and definitely do not ship to the US anymore.

Re: New book?
With the new book and info on the 1.8 Turbo, I wonder if I should start collecting parts for a 2.0 turbo. No good 1.8 engine over here. All I need are new liners and pistons. 2.0L engines are worth almost nothing over here. Anyone want to buy a 3.2 24V ? But let's see what's in the book fi...

Re: 3” exhaust
Every exhaust shop there seem to have a mandrel bender. Not here.
It’s a track car with a 3.2 24V NA, 275 bhp, possible supercharger next. AlanQ4 here, has a 3” system on a modified 3.0 24V and it works well. Lots of K24 conversions also went from 2.5” to 3” system with good gains.

Re: 3” exhaust
Mate, everyone loves photos. You know it, you have lots... :wall:  Post them up. I'm gonna post my latest 3" exhaust setup. OK they're up. Wells are kinda shite (local fab shops kept on asking me to wait days, or had no time), but nothing a few cans of fosters won't fix, will "smo...

Re: 3” exhaust
Haha ok always good advice from you. Just so you know Jim is quite satisfied with…..drum roll….2.5” ….. hey I’m talking about exhaust here… Anyway I’ve fabbed my exhaust 3” after the header secondaries merge, but shrinks back down to 2.5” as I tried the 3” v-band clamp setup and it wouldn’...

3” exhaust
Has anyone fabricated a 3” exhaust system on the 75? I tried to mock up a 3” system with bends and straight sections around the dedion subframe, and over the half-shafts, but the space around there is very tight. I’m thinking of keeping my 2.5” exhaust system for now but if anyone has already done s...

This build is awesome, I love parts coating. Need to learn how to do it properly, painting just won't do.
MD,
Well he does have the Midas touch. So anything he touches turns to gold, so by now, most of the vital parts are probably already coated in gold

Nice. I’ve never seen this setup, would this eliminate the need for the servo?
I heard MD has vacuum pumps too……
