That's supposed to be the point yes.

Duk, I know in Australia a catch can is only illegal if it has the small breather that vents to the atmosphere. If it doesn't, not a problem.

If you're concerned about keeping it clean, simply replace it with a catch can. Same job done, just goes into the can rather than back into the intake.

Have you driven the AWD then?

I'd most certainly take a 159 over a 156 any day.

I can tell the difference between those who have seen and driven the new range, and those who have only read and looked at pictures of them. grant, you most definitely fit in the latter category. I can also tell that the second video was made using Windows Movie Maker and the host had only been read...

It's important to note that the warning light ISN'T a battery light. It's actually a warning light for the alternator. That applies to 95% of all cars. It's a common misconception that it's indicating there's something wrong with the battery. Having said that, I know one of our 75s has a very simila...

Speaking of Alfa fires; http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Alfasud-ti-1982-suit-parts-or-restoration-Alfa-Sud-fire_W0QQitemZ140232655698QQihZ004QQcategoryZ33701QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem What a terrible shame. All that effort, all to be lost in such a short amount of time. I doubt a fire extinguisher...

There are two versions, I don't have a picture of the latter one handy, but this video shows it; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XLY5m36GWck And then there is this orange version that's from one of our 2.5L Autos. If you do end up buying it, you MUST bring it out and you MUST give everyone a ride!

If there was one car I'd buy in a heartbeat, it would be an Integrale.

Clean the bug off the badge next time!

Or was that intended so as to indicate the spirited driving it had just entailed?

Looks fantastic anyway.

Baz, One time the bonnet prop hit a power distribution block and nearly caused a fire (smoked the wire). Luckily I had time to disconnect the battery. Oh we had that happen to my Dad on one of our 75s - Prop jumped off onto battery, started smoking and power cut, he then jumped on the brakes and in...

Being Australia it will only have come from a V6. Most likely a 2.5.

Because we only got the later model Twinsparks here, they were all in the Series 2 instrumentation, so the speedo read up to 280km/h.

Not only do they handle poorly, you also pay twice the price you would for an Alfa simply because you get that badge squashed onto the car  On the positive side, it keeps the posers out of Alfas  I've driven the turbo diesel 159 as well and it was a very nice car indeed. Handling and brak...
