Have a look at these links. Acc pump on v4, with map sensor, and advanced acc pump with v5. You must update the software as JJ has said, to take advantages of the improvements. I use V4 and V5 on my v6's and they both work well. V5 just has more acc pump microsecond available, and more cold start cr...

Ah, okay.....

you guys on version 3 right??? 4 and now 5 allow acc pump as Jes correctly states.

I guess you have much older models.

Just order the new v5 chip ( very cheap) open the box and pop it in.

Hi

You must use the gotech temp sender for it to sync. The temp will show a higher reading in the software, as is is not calibrated for the alfa type temp sensor.

hope this helps

You may have the tps wired upside down.

This will give 100% reading at idle

Have a check that when you sweep the throttle open the %'s go the wright way.

On the V6 alfa, you do not need need a tps! unless you are running individual throttle bodies, or full race cams with a plenum.

Hi,

Would you not need a 4 blade chopper plate for a 4 cylinder Alfa engine?

I think you need a dizzy from a '88-91, 1.8 ALFA 75 injection.

They ran with bosch motronic injection, and the dizzy would be perfect.

hope this helps

I "think" JJ and co. are using the basic gotech mfi, and use the blue/white optional output wire, to fire the coil directly. You can use the optional output to switch the fuel pump. Just remember that the fuel pump output is negative switching and that a relay should be used. In the softwa...

RZ The car lives only 5 min's from me in London! I've been 'on track' with the supercharged SZ (autodelta), It was fairly dissapointing to see that it had a hard job powering past my gtv6 3.0 down the straights, and even out the corners!! I think they struggled with this car for some time, including...

Don't worry too much! Unless you're going to be racing for wins in a competitive series, save all the hassle and leave alone. Seriously. There is no optimal setting, each track will need a different setting to really take advantage. Thats why the factory IMSA's were fully adjustable for rear camber,...

Hamishm00 What causes the increase, is the raised compression in the engine, and the increased squish band that occurs. Now the piston is protuding slightly more in the liner, and therefore further into the combustion chamber. But, the biggest gains come from the cams, as the 147 race cars have to r...

Z, That might be easy with Autronic, but Gotech uses a different kind of cell display, wich is kinda hard to export into excel. but you can use the internal d/logging to record afr and rpm, and also show what load point the afr needs adjusting 1-32! Its kinda simple, but gives a good picture of wher...
