There's more sealant under the black wax! Great, more work... Haha, j/k my car didn't seem to get much if the sealant, as it's pretty rusted. at any rate here are a few links to the truck bed liner that comes in spray cans, otherwise there is rhino liner which you would have sprayed professi...

If I were to do it: To run oil from the car to the turbo, put a sandwich plate in to remote mount the oil filter and put a T in the lines to run to the turbo (otherwise you could put the T in the line for the mechanical oil pressure gauge...assuming it is mechanical, I haven't actually looked), then...

As long as the liners and pins are fine, I wouldn't worry about it. There was a girl I worked with once that had a Daewoo (econobox POS)... While on a road trip with her mom, the timing belt broke and they proceeded to drive probably 1000 ft or so, without realizing there was a problem, until all 16...

I understand what you are trying to say, I guess I just explain water injection as helping to raise the octane of the gas (loosely) as well as absorb heat. Given that when you use water inj. (once again temp. is a constant) you raise the amount of energy it takes to ignite the new mixture, thereby r...

The only feasible argument as to reliability of water injection system would depend on what system you bought, I've heard of water injectors leaking and causing problems. Hi Maldi, Thanks for the response. It seems clear that you understand the charts which is what I am concerned about. The text in ...

Copper headgaskets are usually used for higher CR and high boost applications, but I'm not sure if they cause electrolysis of coolant or help it... I had a Ford Thunderbird in which Ford used different metals for the head and block, so electrolysis was a problem, ruining the coolant in a year or les...

Sweet, I'm glad you are writing a book. Me and a friend have actually read alot into water injection after he stumbled across it on the magical world wide web. Then we had to try to convince another friend of it's feasibility and history. He fails to believe that it is effective AND reliable AND con...

Misc: GTV6 Parts F/S
I am starting a restoration with my '84 GTV6. I am putting in a custom driveline and redoing the electrical system too. This said, I will be selling all of the things I don't need off the car. The driveline was in pretty good shape, only having 55k miles on it. the problem was that the body and susp...
