Hi, I had the same problem with resonance when I replaced my center-muffler with a straight through pipe. This was on my previous GTV6, I bougth some cheap mufflers and got the welded in where the straight through section used to be, and the problem was solved. I didn't have any performance headers ...

Hi SyndeyJules, Do you think 16 inch is the largest one should go or do you think 17 inch is ok. What about width? 7.5 max. I don't want my tires to scrape. Its there a proven standard for these cars. IE: AMG has a standard for Mercedes for their set up and everyone copies this?? I do like the deep...

Thanks Guys!, Wheels are 17 inch, 9J! Barracuda split rims ( searched a long time for 3 liter type), tyres are 235's on a 40 profile. As for Cape Town, it sleeps under a blanket and only comes out to play on weekends!. Hano Hano, do you run 9inch rims both front and rear, or only at the rear? What ...

I know it not exactly what you're asking for, but a guy in Holland put the camshafts from a 3.0 Spider into his 155 2.5 12valve. The result was a LOT more power at high rpms, but not really a big difference in torque. I can't find the link to the power-graphs anymore, but the used to be on the Squad...

I've finally managed to get the car to run properly(not overflowing). I've done some adjusting according to Greg Gordons L-Jet guide and bought new plugs, new Castrol 10/60 racing oil. I've fitted the CSC headers, bought new CSC middle section and mounted the Stebro rear-box. Sound is great, but cou...

SydneyJules, the wheels looks to be Zender Milano. I think they are 7x17. Previously I didn't like these wheels, but they look great on this GTV6. Are the center of the wheels painted in the same color as the lower part of car? Polished lip? The wheels really look good, somehow the don't look quite ...

Problem solved :D Kinda embarrasing really, but the cause of this was actually that my mechanic had put the connectors to the CTS and TTS on the wrong sensors. (CTS-connector on the TTS and vica versa...) I started to suspect this when I pulled what I thought was the plugg to the TTS and the ...

GTV6 gets too much fuel
Hi, I've read all kinds of FAQ's and this GTV6 forum without finding a truly similar problem, hopefully some of you could help. Here are my symptoms: 1. Starts easily 2. Runs fine when cold 3. When temp reaches about 40-45degrees (Celcius) it starts to sputter, starting to fire on 3-5 sylinders and ...

Peab, I would go with the 2.8 option. Like you say, everyone have the 3.0-engine and a stock 3.0 isn't very exciting or high revving. Of course you could get more power out of a 3.0, but I guess the 2.8 would sound much better, be more unique and more fun. If you don't do the 2.8 engine I'll buy the...

I think the GTV6 looks best in a dark colour. Here's a link to a gallery with a lot of GTV6 pictures in different colours. Mostly red of course, but there are some blue, green, white, purple and yellow http://www.cuoresportivo.ch/e107_plugins/autogallery/autogallery.php?show=Alfa+Romeo%27s%2FAlfa+Ro...
