I think GTV6s in the US had different brackets to European ones, didn't US cars have sealed beam units originally. If these lights fit the Euro brackets there could be a big market for them as the Carello's are no longer available. When mine fail the ITV, I will probably have to try to adapt a stand...

GTV6 road test in Spanish
Any Spanish readers can find a lovely period roadtest of the GTV6 from Automovil on www.pieldetoro.net They really liked it and got it up to 218kph! Very good acceleration figures too. It trounces its rivals!

Powerflex Mystery.
I've just been tidying my parts box and found some powerflex bushes that I bought about 2 years ago. They are labelled Alfetta GT GTV Giulietta 75 Front upper spring mount inner bush (PFF1-201). When I got my garage to fit the others they told me that these were not for my car. Anyone know where the...

Well I for one never had a problem with people trying to sell stuff as long as they were upfront and honest about it. It takes some bottle to try and make stuff up on a forum with Barry, Greg, Mats and all the other transaxle gurus ready to spot any guff. Its good that new stuff is still coming out ...

Alfetta GT/GTV/GTV6 buyers guide on motorlegend
Just a quick note to say a nicely produced buyers guide to the Alfetta coupes has just been published on www.motorlegend.com. It has some nice photos and cutaway drawings for those who don't read much French. Just go to the homepage and follow directions for the 'guide d'achat Alfa Romeo GT/GTV/6'.

I still think the forum is really healthy. It is easier to find information so no need to make daft posts. I still love reading the upgrade posts and dreaming of Glenwood engines and RS suspension even though I know that my wife has to get out of the car so it can go in the underground garage withou...

Baby seats in a GTV6?
Hi! We are looking forward to a happy event next March? Has anyone out there managed to fit a baby seat into a GTV6? Mine is a 1984 UK spec. model with rear seat belts. All the manufacturers here in Europe seem to say that their seats only work with certain models and noone goes back far enough. As ...
