Re: Mats Strandberg (SWE)
Agree or not - doesn't change the facts.
Whether the tire is ½ meter up in the air or on the surface with 0 N vertical force doesn't change its lateral force one bit.
This is one of the more typical misconseptions. Just like I've heard a gazillion times that a light flywheel reduces torque.

Maurizio.
There's no difference in the roll stiffness made by springs or an AR bar. Both reduce the load on the inner wheel just the same.
Only difference is the ratio longitudinal vs lateral stiffness.

Re: Dedion with camber
Well - if the outer tire has negative camber, the inner will have positive. At least as long as we're talking std DeDion. The evo with camber gain can be different.
This does reduce grip - no?

Re: Dedion with camber
If you're around, I'd be glad to sit down for some beer and schnitzel. Else nothing special. As MZ said tuning with a AR bar (either front or rear is also OK). As the inner wheel will lose some grip I'd check the LSD while mounting the DeDion. If it's not already tuned with 4 clutch plates I would r...

What kind of comment do you want?
Congratulations for a smart order maybe.
Remember to compensate for the lowered RC with appropriate springs.

Re: Racing Clutches (lightweight)
Can't say anything about the durability of the small ones. The old 7.25" wasn't worn at all when disassembled.
Kimmo is using one on long distance races and works fine. I'll report about 5.5 and 4.5" when I know more.

Since that the 4.5" clutch also has a flywheel thanks to KTErkkilä.
5.5" clutch is in the endurance 75TS and the 4,5 is coming into the GTV in some weeks.

Are you mixing friction modifiers with EP additives?

Re: When should a gearbox have an oil cooler ?
I also said it's not meant for LSD. LS stands for "non-slip". However, it does work with LSD. On track it might even work really good. The clutch plates can "stick" to each other making some noise. But the LSD itself will work perfectly OK. We use different mixes of RedLine in ou...

Re: When should a gearbox have an oil cooler ?
Funny enough you specify the one RedLine which is NOT ment for LSD without friction modifier.

Mobil, Castrol, Motul, RedLine
A Torsen type LSD does not need friction modifiers.

There are gazillions of LSD oils. Me don't see the problem
