You will need a very sharp 10mm drill bit and drill out the spot welds carefully, them grind off any welded parts and your home free!!

I have bought a couple of 2.5 and 3.0L V6 engines with 60 - 70,000 mls on them for about £250, the 3.0L I have in my GTV6 I paid £150 which included all the power steering gear from the 75 doner car.
