Tim just a thought, are the rocker shafts not catching on the studs? i am sure when i pulled my heads the left head would not come out until i moved the shafts a bit.

Hi guys 21st july open day at pukekohe to take our cars on the track $100 for the day . Seriously thinking of taking mine to the track as my mate is going to take his e30 325 bma...should be fun as the performance is pretty similar.

I cleaned up all my earth and positive wiring connections all over the car. I then replaced the battery wire from the alternator to the battery cable connection on the firewall (with a thicker wire) this made a huge difference to my lights , windows etc and the glowing alt light.

Hi to GTV6 and to fellow kiwi. I am in Auckland with a silver GTV6 i bought 8 months back. Just finished overhauling the cylinder heads .. the dreaded valve guides were worn, she is now running like a dream and no smoke. It will be interesting to see if you can bring youre car here, i made enquiries...

Yes well said guys , and i think we owe it to Michael to make an effort to get this forum back to a friendly informative place to hang out. Lets work on other ways to promote and keep a fantastic vehicle on the road. How about trying to get ALFA to recognise what a wonderful car the GTV6 is and help...
