If you go with GoTech Pro, you should ditch the milano/gtv6 coil+distributor and use coil packs fired by the Pro unit.
I believe the Pro can handle both high and low impedance injectors - programmable.

I trigger the relay by the green-black wire that used to go to the coil (bundled with the white tach wire). I use the fused power from the L-Jet (of fuse 20) as power being triggered by the relay - that is the red wire in the 5-6 wire bundle coming out through the firewall (branching off a bigger bu...

GoTech running my verde
I took my, now, GoTech-powered verde for its maiden voyage tonight :D Unlike JJ I don't have any wrenches stock in the AFM to run the fuel pump - hehe... I have a relay triggering (on ignition) fused power for the fuel pump (using the original fused power for the fuel pump from L-Jet). The power for...

That's what I decided to do. I got Greg's stage 2 high impedance injectors since standard GoTech apparently prefers high impedance injectors. Last night I put in the runners (slightly increased internal) and the fuel rail with the new injectors. I also spent some time studying and deciding how to po...

I'm about to put a standard on my verde - waiting for new rubber sleeves and paper gaskets (since it is apart). But, it does appear pretty straightforward - we'll see if it fires right up. Only catch could be to adjust the timing one direction or the other with a fixed value (our starting points are...

I have seen technical drawings for drilling and back-cutting of the gears at

I have no experience with that particular set-up, but thought it could be of help to your friend.

On the other hand - for street driving you don't need lightened gears either. Why not? It will extend the life of the rebuild (synchros) whether on street or track and should improve shifting with reduced rotating mass. I would think it is a nice feature even for the street if you can afford the ex...

verde tach-spedo reading
JJ, Checked tonight: At 160 MPH the tach reads 6800 RPM  At your kind of speeds it would be 80 MPH at 3400 RPM. So my memory was off  Anyway, you can use the above point to check your verde gauges. It is with stock tranny and 205/45-16 tires. Though, you wouldn't know if it is the tach ...

I'm with Peter on the value of the Verde ABS. Mine had similar symptoms in 2000 - every single touch of the pedal would trigger the pump - supposed to have no more than every 3rd time, I think. And, with abrupt application of the brake pedal the orange light would come on momentarily. Anyway, I repl...

A new Alfisti in the making :D 2 1/2 years? Looks similar in size to my son. Yeah, if the tires were off the rims that would have been an excellent opportunity to weigh them. I have found weights reported by manufacturers to be somewhat optimistic at times, and a real measurement would have been nea...
