Mike Cudahy! Great to have you on the forum. Read about your project in Alfa Owner (last year?). So when do you start full production of the lightweight GTV6 panels? Venturi tube cooled brakes? Headlight covers? Looking forward to your price list being published! Did you ever record a true Cd value ...

Greg,

On the way from DC to Dallas, Atlanta makes for a great stop! There are several of us here that would like to see the road show have an ATL tour date.

JJ,

Not till December 23rd. Although leadtimes with these things aren't too dependable.

Thanks for asking!

Michael,

That is exactly how SamW and I did the mount on my car. We gave our new tool a number, just like A-R did.

Sorry Vittorio,

It was a knee-jerk response. Didn't mean to be offensive.

Yup, you'll be able to go crabwise to the left, crabwise to the right, or straight on. Just think, with a linear servo motor actively adjusting the links, you could have 4 wheel steering. The same motion controller could manage the variable length intake runners.... Did your alignment guy tell you y...

I'm in the middle of a production run for my 1st. She should be ready for trials December 23rd. A marked decrease in other activities is predicted. I can't wait to see the finished product!

Sam, looking at the 528i pdf ( http://www.firstfives.org/faq/ljet/528i_Ljet_schematic.PDF ), it appears that the fuel pump relay is triggered by: 86a from ignition 'start' position and 86b from the AFM switch, which takes over once the ignition key is let go of. The return for this current is via 85...

I think so. I need to look at the GT literature though.

Is this Aux wire pre-programmed to turn the FP on? If so, it looks like it needs to be wired to whatever 86b is on the Alfa combo unit. Pin 85 needs a ground from somewhere.

We need to do more research over a pint or 2.

Sam, Check this 528i L-Jet schematic out: http://www.firstfives.org/faq/ljet/528i_Ljet_schematic.PDF It's a bit clearer than the Alfa diagram you have. It shows the ECU providing a GND to the AAV. Also, for the combo relay, it looks like the fuel pump is triggered by the ignition switch in the 'star...

That was fantastic video Mats. Had me on the edge of my seat.

I'm intrigued by the 'Sud. I kept looking for solid fuel boosters strapped to the sides.

Did the 75 cause much damage to the rear of your car?

So is the original alternator only 65A?

If you're now pulling more than the system is designed for, I wonder what happens to the wiring insulation? You might be heating things up a little!

Might be a good idea to upgrade the main power wiring. But you've probably thought of that already Murray.

JJ, I am still at a loss to under stand the purpose of this mod. You say: "You can see that the bolts that come out of the flywheel go into rubber and then stop with just a nut on the other end and nothing holding their tips aligned (other than the rubber) They have the ability to flare under t...
