Yes, my bad... I wrongly assumed that the lack of an Altitude compensator would require a slight re tuning, but the MAP sensor takes care of all of that.

The Blue car looks nice but it's not that nice... Both Pete and used to shoot stills professionally, Pete more than me...and he shot that picture. There's no retouching on the picture just selective color levels and such... The oddest thing is that it's a "sister car" to my my red '84 GTV6...

Yes it's a 3.45 Litre Glennwood engine... It should be rather rude when installed, below are some build pics, and pics from the crate.

Nicks and Petes racecar project

We're building a car for Targa Newfoundland... 7 days 2200 kilometers, 30% on closed off, all-out roads. Asphalt ralley. The poor unsuspecting car is a GTV6 '86 with a Zender kit sans rear spoiler. We're thinking of one of those Ballocco spoilers with the alu. mountings, severly rolled fenders to fi...

GTV6 Homolagted weight

Gang, I need some help. Me and my buddy Peter are building an '86 GTV6 for Targa New Foundland 2006. I downoaded the GTV6 grp 4 homologation papers from this site, and I can't find the FIA weight, both my French and Italian suck... If anyone have any info on GTV6 rally cars weight that's FIA approve...

Nice blister on my hand...

I've spent most of the day porting and polishing a 40mm, 1600 Weber manifold to fit my rather obscene 45mm throttle-bodies... The original 38mm spica manifolds are a bit small in comparison... The only odd thing is the odd off-center match of the 45mm rubber spacers (that I'm way lucky to have found...

In future versions, I'd love to be able to run the software without an ECU connected... So you could look at other maps, and get yourself familiarized before you start tuning... (I'm right there right now... engine not done yet)

Found a Dizzy

The 80-81 L-Jet Spider dizzy's have Hall sensors! And I found one. Spent the evening rebuilding it, I also found a brand new Hall sensor from a Fiat 132 that fits right in. No vacum advance, no extra magnets, it's all good. It has 4 blades and should work fine. The ignition for those Spiders also ha...
