Here is what I do, hope it helps. Start with making sure the belt teeth are seated on the crank pully (and it is at top dead center, cams should be lined up with marks on head), get the belt as tight as you can between the crank and the right head (looking at the engine while standing in front of it...

Enzo, I sent one off to Mattias in Sweden a few weeks ago, he is still waiting to get it, the total cost was about $165 US, but you don't get any tracking, so when his shows up, and if you want to do the same thing, I will order one and ship it to you, but let me get the first shippment all wrapped ...

Could be the sendor or a wiring problem I have seen both. There is a test in the shop manual to determin which one, but I can't remember it off hand.

Thanks, sounds like good advice, would the car be safe to drive about 50 miles to the dyno shop? My car has the standard lambda (O2) sensor, will this work, or do I need different/new one?

What is the best way to lock the dizzy?

OK, I bought one of the three, should be here next week, but I will need some input from the folks here on how to program it. The first question I have is where to mount the MAP sensor, I have spare plenum lying around, should I mount it directly to the plenum, or will one of the hoses that run to t...

All I can add is that Vince made me a great deal on a very small quantity of parts for my Verde that no one else would touch because they we small and odd. He communicated well, asked the right questions to make sure I got the right parts, and I did and was very happy. My two cents/quids/yen/euros/e...

Alfa Heaven has a 160 degree one that I use in my '86 GTV6, and they are only about $20, since they don't come with the housing, if they are out, I have a spare.

I used the same method as David to get it apart, worked out fine, the trick is getting it back in, don't use the little stud and nut at the top, they break easy, especially if it is the Frap brand. I would stick the ball joint in the freezer and heat up the A-arm unless you have the proper tool or s...

Petros, Go to the cooling forum, under page three of the new expansion tank discussion, look at the first two pics of the new tank in my car and you can see the resistor between the tank and the firewall. It has the three wires and is shaped like a small cigar. If you need I can take a better pic of...
