That's a good idea. I've even noticed some of the trickle charges have a cigerette lighter adapter. For some reason i hadn't thought of it.

My battery is an optima gel battery so i guess i don't have to worry about it going dry.

lads just to let you know i checked the new battery and it has 12.64volts. it's the same battery the red top gel battery i did the same amp test with a different multimeter and got these results car off, nothing on .01Amps doors open .96Amps lets see how the battery does in a weeks time Greg

Well. I got a chance to get to the garage today and here's what i found. The small valve. is a one way valve. air can go into the sytem but not out. I removed it and blew into it to find this out. I then followed the hose that leaves the valve and it made it's way to a mall plastic tube that went in...

Zig, Well i've been looking though some alfa manuals. And i'm more confused now than before i started. from the eper alfa manual. All the hoses going to that box in the wheel well have been replaced with the silicon hose kit. So i know that can't be it
