You're right, 10.7, my fault.
So the only reason why would you want to raise the piston is to use the original gasket, right?
Changing gasket's thickness to 0.8mm would even increase CR to ~11.0.

I have a question. What do you think of that instead of skimming the heads you could use thinner head gaskets (from normal 1.6mm to 1.0mm in case of 3.0 24v should increase CR from 10.0 to ~11.3). In theory it should be better because you decrease squish and increase combustion quality.
