Re: GTV6 3.2 24V

Peter Think about it. Oil pressure during the braking cycle is almost irrelevant because the engine is on a very small load compared to maximum power under acceleration. A good oil will see this period of engine running well enough not to be of concern. If the pressure is holding up during cornering...

Surprises me too.
You can never surprise Kevin. Has his guard up 24/7. Sleeps with one eye open. The other one is intermittent. Onya Kevin !

Re: Hello from relocation to UK with my two South African GTV6's

Kevin I think you have a tyre noise problem. Remember you only need two to go round corners.

Re: GTV6 3.2 24V

Hey Polski. Good to see you out there giving motorsport a crack. As long as you are quicker than Kevin that's all that counts. Had a very quick think about your request. If the pick up point is your only concern, I think it plausible to just relocate it using your existing pump. My Picasso drawing s...

Re: GTV6 3.2 24V

HI Peter, A very nice practical and minimalist outcome for all you dedication. Nice job mate. ...one thing I don't understand is why you left that wrap around condom on your steering wheel ?? Impact protection of some kind perhaps? You know how it goes, I can't just let you get off Scott free :D :D ...

Er..you gotta register first.
Having done that, you will find it a very good resource in many and diverse respects.

Cheers.

Re: alternator charge cable

Very nice progress. The B+ output from the alternator can go almost anywhere where there is a B+ connection. However due to the fairly high current that may be produced by the alternator, it is generally connected where there is high current carrying wiring already ie. the starter B+ connection. Par...

Re: Supercharged 3.0 24V

The engine I am working on is a 1.8 Alfetta and it was a pain to source here as well. At one time you couldn't give them away. Difference is that I am going to supercharge it just to piss JK off. No direct evidence but I think the case against the vulnerability of the 2 litre liners using high boost...

Re: Supercharged 3.0 24V

Now that Zamani's topic has been shot to pieces.... W.W. Very nice Chrysler Coupe. But hey DON'T ENCOURAGE HIM !! You just know he's gonna come back a v16 diesel next. Can't help himself. :D I do think his red pants are going go down well at "The Blue Oyster Club". :wall: So doing a detour...

Re: Supercharged 3.0 24V

Gidday Greaser. Enough keystrokes in your last post to get you a spot with Clarkson, Hammond and May as the feature driver with your Supercar. Small suggestion. Your car is too small for the engine. It needs bigger wheels, yes, I definitely think bigger wheels will do the business. A periscope is a ...

Re: Supercharged 3.0 24V

Geez Zamani.I told you not to piss him off. Now he's gone on bender. First he wants to flog you a lame 1.8L turbo then he says they are crap and you need to move onto a V8 mustang. I think him being on Facebook has done a LOT of damage. Muscle cars live on other forums. Disorientation will do that t...

Re: Supercharged 3.0 24V

Hey Zamani, The only reason I included this helpful advice about the hair drier is to piss the Greekster off. He and I have been at logger heads about boosting (privately) for years. By all means do what ever works in terms of not only the performance you need but also what works financially. Lookin...
