Hi Murray, I have not had much time to post on the forum because of work in my shop. I doubt you will have any oil consumption problem. We have use those rings before on a few engines without any issues. The problem in this case is probably because of some incorrectly transmited specs from Total Sea...

I get a lot of questions via e mail, one of the most common is regarding supercharger sizing so I guess I will start there. I will use Eaton superchargers for reference. Not because I am trying to advertize but because I am very familiar with them. Plus they provide great charts and stuff to help de...

Mats, we can't continue the discussions in the old forums so it's a good idea to start this topic here and avoid hijacking other threads with forced induction tech stuff.

Lets not hijack JJ's post, I think he has a record for longest running post without a changing topic. I would love to respond to your statements somewhere else. Finally someone who understands that not all pounds of boost are equal. It's all about how many air molecules we can shove in!

I can't see any reason you couldn't use a two piece alloy shaft with a center bearing and a conventional U-joint at each end. I am not buying this vibration argument. The problem is making it at a reasonable cost. It's very tough to get a shop to make 1 or even 10 of something like this.

Silver paint works just fine. However silver powder coating is a better option if you want to spend the extra cash.

That car is really something. I am glad to see an Alfa motor in it. Most people go with the Small Block Chevy motor (SBC) because of the horsepower/dollar ratio. With a car like that there are so many other factors that would make it more exciting with an Alfa motor, hopefully more people will build...

An Ultima with a 3.0 and Twin Turbos and 8000 rpm! That sounds like a VERY exciting combination.

Glad you and Barry got everything worked out. I knew you would.

I suspect I am not the only one excited about the 3.7 liter project. Keep us posted!

There are only a few secrets. Overall I think I have given more detail on this kit then anyone else has given out for any other product on the market for our cars. I am leaving out information on fuel, ignition, and a couple other items that have a huge effect on performance.

Zamani, yes I did mention that. No I can't elaborate on it.

Bob, the exhaust note is basically the same but louder at full throttle. Of course it's mixed with the sound of the supercharger and air being sucked in. I think it sounds great, so do my teenage kids.
