i was under the impress that the half shafts had to move because the dedion tube moves and the trans does not.... when i had my tube out to press the sz bushing in and the trans was hanging on by that back bolt i noticed that i could push the ends of the half shafts in and then pull them back out. i...

i am pretty sure the alfa ricambi ships out of usa... the picture comes from page 113 of the ar catalog they sent me. they qouted me a price but i forget. i remember thinking at the time it was worth it.

call alfa ricambi and see if they have the "sure shifter" ready to go yet. that is the best option for a street appreance and i think they claim a 30 percent reduction in throw length with more precise feel.

if you are going to be cutting and welding... why not just eliminate the whole shock tube all together? you could prob use some sort of steel round bar or tube and just weld half inch plate or whatever on to thr tube/bar... drill holes... no worries
