More than likely, the dyno used was a dynojet 248C. This will read higher than others like the dynapack, mustang or maha. Most of the dynos used in US car magazine are dynojets. Actually the correction factor values are given on his website. So you can perform the math yourself according to SAE J134...

Barry,

Was referring to Hamish's 2.5 24V engine actually. I also visit alfa156.net regularly.

Barry,

Wow 3.8L! Nice one.

BTW, I heard you have a 156 2.5 V6 engine in your kitchen? Is it an almost plug and play in my 155? Although I think if I put in a unichip and hotwire MAF, I could make a 156 V6 6-speed piss in the pants.

Hi Greg,

The C. BWA & Benzoni wheels are just as bad as the speedline wheels IMHO. Both bend easily.

Dave R,

The Milano Verde came with 3 types of wheels:

Wine glass (or whatever) pattern, Speedline: 15 X 6.5mm 45mm offset
Telephone dial pattern, Speedline: 15 X 6.5mm 45mm offset
Telephone dial pattern, Benzoni: 15 X 6.5mm 30 mm offset

Before any of us build something, we have a set of parameters to work with. Maybe some of you have ...unlimted budget? Or whaterver. Greg's parameters have always been emphasized as STOCK everything. He doesn't care for Autronic or Haltech or EMS or even Megasquirt. His deisgn parameters require STO...

Mats,

With your permission, can we start discussing, what exactly do we need to convert an L-Jet car to GoTech?

Greg, I think if the mount is bolted onto the engine block, it should fit the 24V cars. The only issue is how much clearence does the SC have to the exhaust side of the head? The 24V cam cover runs pretty close to the brake MC. The exhaust side of the cam cover is taller than the 12V because of the ...

Todd, Why not Greg's supercharger, big injectors, and megasquirt. You should be pushing close to 280 bhp at low boost. The beauty of Greg's kit is that when it is time to smog, it only takes 1 hour to take off the S/C. And if you decide to sell the verde, everything can come off and be sold seperate...

What about getting the pulley with the highest boost, and then put in an electronic boost controller? THat way you can boost up on short runs.
