I have big metal cross instead of the front dounut and a BMW item at the middle which seems to handle the engine, The front cross member has 15* degrees side movement ability which elliminates the rear donuts side pressures. I'm afraid there is no single pressure plate clutch that can handle more th...

Tthe 164 24mm MC is an excelent part for a light 4pots setup , just make sure that it is healthy and does not need rebuild.
Pedal will start higher and without noticing when engine working on vacum and booster functioning the brakes will "bite" stronger.
good luck!

I would be surprised if the stock tp clutch will hold at so much torque . Also a thing to worry about is the center Alfa dounut and the final ratio which may snap(the pinion). Engine and power was never the problem ,can always retard ignition and if not then Meth injection or better heat exchanger ,...

Hi all, I have adopted Barry's method of the wheel bolts transplanted as studs into a matching 1.5 pitch instead of my old style bolts coming from the whee'ls side into the steel plate I had made from behind the GTA disk-works great!!!! No more rattling at high high speeds , no more released bolts a...

Hey Chen Why didnt you asked me this on the phone ? The alfetta is 43mm, the 75 is 51mm. Just Play with the car original spacer (not the Uniball spacers) Tomer, There is no possibility to fit the original spacers into the uniball as the in-diameter (radius) of the uniball is smaller than the ...

Andy, Tomer hi,
Do you happen to know the hight differances between the GTV6 Giulietta\alfetta sleeve and bush?

On the SZ the 2 sleeves that sit on the inner of the SZ rear triangle uniball are together around 4 mm longer than the Giulietta /alfetta in-bush sleeve :?

WOW!, very very nice job here Lenz!!!
I'm planting the rear stock calipers (with SZ-like spacers inside them) outboard on a 156 V6s front discs (22\284), this way I can still use the mechanical handbrake (with some changes to the cable puller),
will post pictures when ready.

The headers are beautifull, and I'm sure they're not only looking good but also helping for some release gains. Regarding the rods, we used Pauter rods here on some crazy high rev 4 cyl engines we built, we're talking about 500-600hp of 2Ltr lancia and VW turbocharged engines , these connecting rods...

Thanks Jes!
I actually bought a Mocal Oil cooler from a local dealer recently,
very cheap and top quality.
Should I locate the pump's inlet lower than the gearbox?

Gearbox oil cooler+pump

Did anyone fit a gearbox cooler with a circulation electric oil pump similar to the ones fitted originally on the SZ\RZ ??? According to the SZ technical disc it seems that the pipes are connected to the gearbox from top and bottom and the cooler is fitted on the right center bottom of the vehicle o...

I like that setup for a 24v. single turbo. Makes it easier and since you would run one turbo, a ball bearing option would be prefered. To tell you the truth i have never driven a twin turbo vehicle. I do have a single turbo v6. Not an alfa but when you chose the right turbo. You can hit 23lbs at 18...
