Peter,

Nice job of negotiating! You must have had plenty of good documentation. I was encouraged reading your posting after restoring my car, and putting way more money into it than I believe I could ever get for it, even though the car looks spectacular!

Good luck on your restoration project!

One of the places that my wife and I have discussed visiting is Cyprus. If we decide upon a trip there I will let you know. Thanks for the offer. Good luck with the restoration project. My restored car is finished, and has shipped from the company that did the work. I expect the car on Monday, and I...

I actually like the stripes, well, on your car that is.

And when I lived in India I gained an appreciation for cricket. I can not say that I acquired any skill in hitting the ball, but I like the game.

Best wishes,

Glenn

I do not want to impede the process of grouping together for a better price, but I saw something today that might provide another option to you on this matter.

At International Auto Parts there is a product already tooled, and available for sale at: $170.00. Their part number #28273

The wheels and tires I finally decided on

Ronal RT's 17 inch
Goodyear F1 Eagle 205-40-17

I have had two different types of response:

(1) Those are not the standard wheel, why did you do that????

(2) Man that looks good!!!

That must have been pretty cool driving at Laguna Seca! The only time I was ever there was back in 1987 when Porsche debuted their Indy car there; driven by Al Unser Sr..

I think it is of course fair for people to enter into a business transaction and give what they have been paid for, and receive what they paid for. I support you 100% on this point to be sure.

When I saw my car down to bare metal I saw no holes. In addition, the Alfa Romeo spare part which I purchased for this part had no pins in it either.

I received my new plate from ItalianCar parts, and it was perfect!

I did notice that my memory was mistaken, it does not have an "L" after the 2.5.

So all I need now is the dimensions to position it. HELP!!!

I think it is incredibly appropriate for all of those who have dealt with a company, or individual in this case to express their perspectives. As you know, it's not like you can go to Wal-Mart for parts, so all of us have something to learn from these posts. But just as it is valuable to learn stori...

Well if any of you are desparate to have a new Alfa, and do not want to go to Europe and then have it shipped to the US, over the border in Monterrey Mexico is a dealer. I believe it is possible to drive it back to the US becuase the cars have been tested to US standards, and the emissions are accep...
