I think from inside the doors will be best, i am stripping the car down for a full restoration and want to minimise damaging things on the way, this is my first attempt at stripping a car down! Off at the deep end but will be fully documented and labelled so I can remember how to put it back together!

I have a reverberating knock at tick over?
I have a reverberating knock at tick over it gets louder and then dies off again to repeat the same pattern, you cant hear it from inside the car only when the bonnet is up? i have no idea of the real mileage of the engine as it is a 3.0l out of a crashed 75 and I bought it without any verification....

Oil Pressure Sender Unit removal
I have bought a new oil pressure sender unit for my 3.0 GTV6 from e b spares in the uk. I am having some difficulty getting the old one out cant turn by hand so looks as if I am going to need a right ankle open ended spanner is this the usual sort of tool or is there a better way to remove these?
