Thanks, Fed, it certainly will when it gets supercharged. It needs a piant job - desperately. I am probably going to paint it black, although I love dark grey (like "dan's" as seen a few threads away), and silver could look very good, especially with a silver/black motif. Hell, even a very...

Some photos:

Thanks for the suspension tips - I'd actually like to add to the handling, it's still breaking away too easily - maybe I need the RSR watts linkage? I have the 30mm sway already.

To continue On any roads that might be rated below “fair” (6/10), the RSR system is brutal. It will rock your world  . That’s the nature of what it is. For me, the trade-off is fine, as I will NOT be using this GTV-6 as a daily driver, but rather for day trips in the country, and trips of a l...

A very nice and extremely windy road with changes in elevation is highway 175. This is a must drive for anyone who loves the twisties. It starts in Hopland and meets with highway 29. It passes thru clearlake, cobb mountain and middletown. My twisties are better than your twisties :P I think I know ...

Wow! When I look at this sublime beauty I am reminded of my father's silver '83 (he would have loved your well-kept garage, too!).

I am sure it is in great hands :)

Enjoy.

You know, Mats, that could be the spittin' image; do you know the model year of this Nissan GTS? The one I saw did have "GTS" in large script on the rear (but no manufacturer that I could easily identify - I was kind of busy at the time). It would not surprise me at all were this the vehic...

First of all, I want to thank everyone for their comments - I really appreciate it! I've been trying to find this vehicle, the GTS on the Internet. Originally, all I focused on was the GTS part, which was emblazoned on te back of the vehicle. It became obvious that it was a Mitsubishi very quickly (...

To recap. When the infamous Oakland Firestorm of October, 1991 decimated parts of the Oakland hills in an epic inferno (almost 4,000 homes destroyed), my father’s 1983 GTV-6 was one of many vehicles that were not only destroyed by fire, but incinerated to nothing, to ash. My parents had been traveli...

For those of you who don't care to read this, I understand, I will have pictures soon. I'm not sure that came out right :P I'd like to give my impressions of the vehicle, my professional impressions of Greg Gordon and Hiperformancestrore.com in this final segment (along with fresh picures). I will p...

Mats, I quoted Alfettish in an attempt to reply to his post. I was not replying to anything you said. I won't infer what you mean by "stuff". I probably should have left off the "irresponsible" allegory, but since it was a civic and so fresh in my mind, etc. You bring up an inter...

Thanks Mats. I'll inspect. Yeah the problem with buying old performance cars is that they become less and less a performance car as time goes on. I hate the fact that a Honda civic outperforms my GTV6 in almost every single way... :(:( I was going to touch on this a little bit in my GTV-6 review wh...
