Re: My rebuild!

Thanks Evo. You get to a point where you start to suffer from “working on the Alfa Fatigue” and it coincided with a chance to start a new career in my home town, so I’ll be back down at the first chance to knock a few things over very quickly. Firstly, will be to mount the bumpers and flares, then i...

Re: My rebuild!

I also put the EB spares shift linkage rebuild kit through my linkage, and got a bit carried away and had all the locks and strikers electroplated...

Re: My rebuild!

Merry Christmas Everyone! I have been guilty of not being active on here for a while, again. It's great to see so much activity, so I will begin to spend some time searching around to see what you've all be up to! This will be a long update! Personally, 2020 has had some challenges, with extreme hig...

Re: My rebuild!

Albins lol now you’re talking, Z! Z, I have done a few ratio comparisons and a 90 box, with shorter (same as Alfetta) 1st and 2nd, but with longer diff gearing, has very similar shift speeds to a 75, and then third is 20km/h faster and 4th is about 35km/h faster and tops out at 240. The idea is to b...

Re: My rebuild!

Thanks so much for the write up there, Kevin. I’ll check that out in detail and digest it, because it’s going to be a bit more relevant than I originally thought. Having just sold my TS box to a friend, an engineer in my new home town of Melbourne has told me that he probably wouldn’t be able to eng...

Re: Hello from relocation to UK with my two South African GTV6's

Motec PDM30... very nice! It’s on my wish list for what will eventually be a full Re-wire. It will be interesting to see how things like windshield wipers and lights will work when “assigned” full system voltage and current by a PDM. A friend of mine had his ecu ignition set to remain disabled until...
