I dont know about them for australia.

but lucas-girling is a big part of the european market for before and after fitting in cars.

its good products, but from the tourism wiew.
imho dont expect awesome performance rather than long life from your lucas pads.

bye.

look at the difference ! :

Also to be sure that this is the only reason you dont have good brake feeling: try without the pressure plate but keep the two bar that hold the pads.
and have a road test. you should notice a difference, then try to get real spring plate.

     HEHE... i just see something :!: your spring plate looks like very strange, so i get a look on my old gtv6 brembo alloy OEM caliper ( the same as you ) AND: its not at all the same retaining spring plate, your plate is to wide, then make the pads block so sooner in...

 Jisop ; your brake pads are totally worn out as Micke said ! they cant move further in direction to disc because they are worn and touch the spring plate (that keep them in the bottom of caliper) change them and everything gonna in the rigth way. (its 99% the solution of the problem for sure)

I see your problem exactly.: imagine the door vertical, then the rubber is 90° fitted in regard of the vertical level of the door. open the door. and pull this rubber towards you as simply as you can... this is horizontaly fitted.(for the upper side) begin from the corner; easier to catch. :? .........

also, i think about this solution (image 2) to keep the bolts on place, in order they dont move. one another bolt that 'hold' the first. sounds easy and cheap. because my hats are already done...and i have to modify them... WHY: i make hats that keep the disc closer to car far to wheel. in order to ...
