do you mean that one can open the difrential cover in the back/side of the gearbox, and replace the complete GTV 2,5 crown wheel with the complete crown wheel ( including LSD) from the TS? I would NOT do this. They are most certainly a matched pair. i said same. keep same couple of secondaryshaft/c...

take a photo from the rigth head ( the DX typed )

and take that photo in ordezr to see valves and combustion chamber side.

the new style is near to had a completely rectangular head gasket
and old style had a big corner on the distributor/oilpump corner.

i have been told the bottom end castings are the same so it must be possible to do even if a few mods are needed negative......(for 3L) a difference exist, left header the same, but for the rigth, two different 24 heads. consider the old one and the recent one. the bottom of the old one looks like ...

But it is not designed to spin at engine rpms... right? when gear box ran on 5-6 gear speed, probably gear ratio under 1..... shaft spins faster than motor.... maximum velocity should never occur on a gtv6 or a milano, (faster this can be....) in comparison of other engine with front monted gearbox...

i will take a pic of my bells, you will see that there is a lot of tread in mines.

i have 25mm of tread........ :o because my bells are ....large...?!
i made a system that is the closest possible form the car, in order to run small wheels and big brakes.
