Bruce,Hi...No, not a direct replacement.Seeing as your in the UK,get a coupling from Ford for the old 80`s Ford Granada(You know, same as the Sweeney??Hahaha..)
Bolt it on and forget about it.

FAO Barry.

I have just tried fitted the Granada coupling to my car, what a pain! No problem going on to the propshaft front yoke but it is just a few mm too small for the flywheel side.

Too small? Pilot dimension or what?

The rubber coupling needs to be dimensionally larger in relaxed position (not mounted), the rubber must be compressed when mounted on the car or it will wear out very fast. The design intent is to never have expanding forces on the rubber, only compressing.

It fits the propshaft end OK but the flywheel bolts are too wide (far apart) for the coupling.

Did you temporarily fit a jubilee clamp while installing? I once tried to fit a coupling after removing the clamp....the symptoms were the same as yours.

Yes Mat. The factory coupling is compressed to fit the yoke but with this one, it fits the yoke spot on but you have to expand it to fit the flywheel.
