Windshield wiper motors

Post by Cassin »

The windshield wipers on my '86 GTV6 move SO slowly - even at the so-called "high" speed - that they can barely keep up with the dew in the morning. Actual rain is almost out of the question. In those rare, but occasional, Winter storms here in coastal Southern California, the car is essentially undriveable.

I know this is a general problem on most old Alfas of just about every model, so I'm wondering if anyone has come up with a workable solution? Are there wiper motors from other cars which might fit and can be readily installed?
