Wanted: Dyno Results

Post by 5yearplan »

I've been doing research, and making a list of all the components I will need for a restoration of a '84 GTV6. I'm putting a 3.0L 24v and am going forced induction after everything else is completed. It would be great if you guys could post any Dyno sheets, or specific info as far as a torque curve, Hp and whatnot for these engines, as it will make choosing turbo/super-charging setup ALOT easier. My intent is not to start a battle of the motors, or any kind of duel/swordfight. :D Just looking for some mildly specific info. Thanks.

Dyno results 166 3.0 V6 24V

Post by Sud_Oscar »

Hello,
I just found a dynotest movie with Alfa 166 3.0 V6 24V. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Wmyclk81H0

The output from that test:
"Results: normal power is 229,6 BHP and engine power is
222,8 BHP while 6710 revs per minute and 180km/h and
torque (more important :D ) 273,1 Nm while 5585 revs per minute and 149,8 km/h
the car is standard and doesn't have any mechanical tuning,
now is a little bit old and have been used like "sports car"
so i think this are good results."

Good luck..
