hey guys,

This may sound like a dumb question but i can't for the life of me figure it out.

how do you remove the power mirror swtich. There's a round metal nut that sit's bellow the plastic switch that isolates the side you want to control. I can not completely loosen the nut because the plastic isolater switch sits on top. I've tried to pull it out. but i just can't get it out.

what gives??

That round metal nut needs to screw off. Once its off you can detach the switch, it has like a small joystick, right?

I was able to remove it. But exactly how I can no longer remember. I have a feeling you need to pop out the toggle switch first. (it should come out if you pry it upward) then unscrew the ring.
