Steeringwheel, which one?

Post by Alfist-GTV6 »

Hi guys,

It's been a while since i posted here.
But i'm currently looking for a different steeringwheel.
I'm quite fond of the Nardi's, but don't know which one to buy.

Which type do you guys recommend?
Another brand may also be posted.

Also example-photographs are welcome.

Ciao, Arjan.

Whil very nice (I have one on my 67 MGBGT), I've read that the wood rimmed wheels are not good for track use as they splinter in a crash.

I have a grant on the GTV6 and like it, but I find that the smaller diameter wheel, my height, and my preferred wheel position all conspire to make it so I can't see the speedo or tach very well. I am 6' 3" tall.

hth,
scott

Hi Scott,

There also some Nardi leather wheels, also something that i'm considering.
I won't go smaller then 360mm, 340mm is way to small imho.

I have a 33 P4 Nardi steering wheel fitted on my 75 TS.

Looks pretty well and it has a fantastic grip.

Here´s a pic of a similar one:
