hey guys.

I'm just wondering how many speakers were installed originally on these cars? 4 or 2? where?

Does anyone have an extra volume knob for the original blaupunkt stereo?

Pretty sure it was 4. Two in the front doors and two in the rear panels on the sides. It would be easy enough to run for 6 though if you used the trunk lid sides to support the speakers.

As far as I know, 2 speakers were installed (one on each side)
on the back panel (above the hashtray)

well i don't have any speakers in my door panels. I guess some cars had them and others didn't?
I do have 2 oversized 6x9 speakers in the rear quarter panel area below the window. They are an eyesore...and i'd love to beat on the stupid idiot who was responsible, to say the least! I'm looking for 2 good used panels to replace them with. (Black vinyl).
It also looks like there was once 2 speakers insalled in the trunk area. But those are no longer around. I wonder what size they were?
Did these cars come w/ an amp? where would it be located?

Looks like it changed from year to year....I think the one's installed in the trunk deck were aftermarket...but can't be sure.

As far as my knowledge can go, amp and speakers in the trunk
have never been an option proposed by Alfa for this model.

Therefore, it is for sure an aftermarket installation.
