Lexan Hood Cover
I have produced a simple Lexan hood plate that goes in place of the original black plastic. This cover is a very good replacement for the stock unit and I am selling it with tasteful stainless hardware. Lexan is the same plastic used for NASCAR windshields. Its benefits include being very bendable but it does scratch relatively easily. This has not been a problem thus far. This piece seals better than the stock unit looks really nice. The plate can increase sealing with the addition of 4 corner bolts, please specify your preference.

Very cool! The Maratona model in 1984 had a smoked version of the cover you made as a standard feature, but they are not available to my knowledge from any of the usual suspects. Have you looked at a Maratona and how its cover is attached? Can you make them with a smoke (bronze) tint?
Cheers,

Hi,
I would be interested in purchasing one of these from you with you still have any left.

Hi,
Just checking up on the final details on my Alfa. My hood is done and we just painted the black hood area black for now. It looks good but I was still hoping to get a clear cover from you. Is this still an option or should I be thinking of another game plan. I forgot about this thread and I am still interested. Let me know what your thoughts are.
