Remove the plastic crap and the bumpers and the genius of Giugiaro's design reveals itself.

I ran my GTV6 (both of them) for awhile without the front air dam and I love the view of the tires that are revealed from the front. A more subtle air dam and bumper combo that tidies up the metalwork but allows that view would be a nice upgrade.

Good luck with the repaint. Lower the rear!

Jef,

Rears lowered with the Shankle springs. Every frikkin' bearing, bushing and what not under the car has been changed many w/poly stuff. 80% of the interior's been re-done. I'm going to try some mutherf***cation to the fugly Fr/Rr bumpers!! Euros would be an option. May develop my own. The design on these bodys is like a run-way models IMHO!! Stunning...

This pup's going back to the glory she deserves... 3.0 ltr in the works..

I'm also restoring my GTV6, mine is from 86 and is very close to 100% original, some of the small trim pieces need replacing and small parts, but i think i will machine them instead of trying to find them.
pictures will be coming up soon.

Here's a paint update on the paint job. ALL trim removed and is getting recoated. Only things left were the front & rear windscreens. No rust on this puppy.

elbilly,

Haven't forgotten about the bumper inserts and yes, your recollection of the price is correct. Obviously, been busy as all three of my cars are getting this aesthetic make-over one after another. I'll be in touch.

Cheers.
