The Simmons F90s arrived the other day. Got them fitted up with 225x45x16 rears and 205x45x16 fronts. The fronts are too low in the profile so I am going to replace them with 205x50x16s to fill up the guards a little more and give a slightly cushyer ride.

Then I'm going to drop the front down a couple of inches and only then will I post a pic of it. Far too embarrasing at the mo with the front aiming for the sky! Its topping out at the top of the travel!

That sounds wicked.

offsets F & R ?

Too many people order the simmons wheels thinking they are going to look hot with the standard alfa offset and they come up short. The centre piece sticks out waaay to far, if you have ever seen a wrx with simmons you will know what I mean.

I have only seen one that looked awesomw, but I dont think they were stock offset.

When I sell my b45's I am hopefully ordering FR17's

Yeah I must admit that my wheels were not what I was really expecting in the offset department. I thought they may have had a little less offset. I spose I should have consulted directly with Simmons themselves rather than dealing through a tyre shop.

Still I like the sleeper, understated, almost standard look with the nearly, but not quite original wheels. Hoping it will look better after the rust has been removed and the colour changed to the gunmetal shade that is currently on the bottom side of the car. Look as tho I will have to drop the rear also to level her up a little. Then a medium tint on the windows and she'll be sorted. Then I can concentrate on the Fraser again, which I was quite happy plodding along with untill that pesky Alfa made its way into the shed!

Still I really like the Simmons fit and finish. Its the old thing of "Ya get what ya pays for".

I'm not a fan of those rims but they sure look good on the GTV. Must be due to right size and ET.
