Gentlemen,
can someone help me find a quick ratio steering rack for my GTV 2.0?
I am looking at something with 2.5 turns (or similar) instead of the original 3.5.
Any help will be greatly appreciated!!!
Thanks in advance.

We don't have any and we don't sell any that we may have. You're still missing 2 cylinders.
Get a V6 and then we'll talk.

They are or at least were available from a guy in Sweden. 2.1 turns and €250,-
I mailed him and wait 4 reply.
PS! Jimbo's seacow weighs so much he installed a 6.7 turn electropneumatic powersteering by now

Only fit Spica racks, ZF racks is no-go.

I have reduced weight dramatically by inflating tires with Helium. I am currently disabling windows and sealing the cabin, so that I can also fill that! The only problem is I don't like the Donald Duck sound!
BTW Mr x-files, I have arranged with Vassilis to install your quick-rack (if you ever get it, hahah!) in the
rear of your
4cyl gtv. You'll be the quickest gtv around, taking corners like a
forklift! (You
drive like one too, hahahah!

Are u sure Mats?
I thought he can do either and you just have to specity which rack.
BTW, I removed the rear suspension from the Q4 some days ago and it would be really easy to install a rack in the back of it. I just cannot decide where to put the additional steering wheel front left or rear seat

Yep, had a discussion about that. He may have changed that now though, I believe it had something to do with pinion nose and spline.
You fool, the rear steering whell goes coaxial in front of the regular one!

Thanks Micke!
JK: I ignore your devious comments and offer to buy your miserable 6-cylinder substitute of an engine because i need to fix my lawnmower (he, he, he...)
I doubt though whether this thing will still give me enough hp to properly cut grass that is left to grow for more than a month, i guess i'll have to wait and see...
I also
do not wear make up unlike some guy i know who does a certain nightime job in order to raise funds so that he can build a proper 4 cylinder beast which indeed is his most hidden erotic passion (and not the v6s that he preaches about regularly!!!!).
I am still desperate to find a quick steering rack...

did the us model gtv6 come with zf or spica steering racks randomly or is this a akin to the ate vs. brembo front calipers?
