There is a tyre dealer near one of the Sydney Alfa dealers who often has people bring in cars straight from the dealer to get after market wheels and tyres, as a result the tyre dealer ends up with piles of new Alfa wheels. I bought these 147/156 wheels a few years back with P Zeros.
I think this style is a good fit for the GTV6.

Nick: do you have contact information for your wheel supplier? I wonder if they would ship a set to the US. What you have is just what I'm looking for!

John

Mine came from tyre shop called "Bob Jane" on Victoria Rd Drummoyne a suburb of Sydney.

Surely there would be plenty of these in the U S of A. That set in Germany for 159 Euro's is a good price.

That's some crazy talk... here in Oz the Alfa range is availiable with about 4 different wheel styles. those one's of course and the telephone dial type for the 147/156 and then a decorative spoke style and a striaght spoke in 17" and some others too me thinks, including the GTA 17"s.

No wheels in the US because Alfa has been out of the US market for so long, although apparently returning in late 2008 with the Brera and Spider (is that right ?). Micke, if you get some more rims at that price post them on the parts page!

I'm with Micke on this - these things are heavy.
The set we put on my Dad's GTV3.0 weighed about 11kg without tyres  but they do look really good :D
and not bad for under 400 bucks for the set.

You know I've never given much thought to the weight of the wheels on my GTV6. This got me thinking, so I've just nipped outside were my old wheels live and I took these pics (with some help from the dog).
They weigh 10Kg each sans tyres.
The reason I got the Alfa wheels is because when I bought my P Zero's I had them fitted to the old wheels but three of them would not balance as they are a little bit on the square side.
