cchan: Just got back on the internet after a house move. 1st thing I did was check gtv6.com - and was I happy to see your car on the road! It looks fantastic. Really, really great. It is tastefully custom, without being over the top. I'd also recommend the IAP-stocked overflow tank. My '6 has protot...

cchan, JJ has delivered a good product. I have to assume this, as he has done so for numerous others. Besides teething problems, what he has sold to others seems to perform. I have some personal knowledge of this. Now, it seems that you are at an impasse: you can't make GoTech work, and neither can ...

Tiny pistons! But wait....wasn't there a 2 litre V12 Ferrari?

Hopelessly OT now. No hope of going back.

Wasn't there a 208 Ferrari? As in: a 308 with 2 litre engine?

If my memory serves me correctly, it was Italian market only.

Did you temporarily fit a jubilee clamp while installing? I once tried to fit a coupling after removing the clamp....the symptoms were the same as yours.

Milano: shifter 'eye': ID = 14m, L = 20mm 86 GTV6: shifter eye: ID = 12mm, L = 20mm 84 GTV6: shifter eye: ID = 12mm(?), L = possibly less than above, thru bolt needs to be 5mm shorter. Basically the only simple upgrade here is re-bushing. Every 2 years... All use a poor quality thru-bolt of odd dia...

Getting more than 20 in the stock WRX is difficult. And that's with ~70% of my mileage on the interstate. That's US gallons though, so make it 25ish for those that drink the big pints.

Did you guys check out one of the recent articles in..hmmm.... I .forgot...maybe European Car or Sport Compact Car magazine, the Audi 2.0T FSI Quattro had 146 wbhp. That is pretty low for a 200 bhp car. With a chip, it was still lower than 200 wbhp. 146/200 might be right. The std WRX loses 26ish% ...

I often wonder just how the 18-35s are modding their WRXs. I get the impression that a lot of them think you can pick components a la carte and not consider the entire system. They're just adding up HP claims that the retailers make. Perhaps a lot of lean-running or just poorly tuned WRXs are out th...
