I'd appreciate it if you could post the wiring diagram for the window-motor mods with the relays. Seeing your restoration makes me feel guilty that I've not done as much to my vehicle. Fabulous result!

Re: AlfaGtv6.com - CLOSING TIME - January 31st 2019.
I got my '83 GTV6 in 1997 and it's still running like a top and is huge fun to drive. I didn't realize that my acquisition was so soon after the forum began. I've hugely appreciated all the information (and entertainment) this site has provided me over the (surprising number of) years. I've download...

Sergio bye bye.
I expect to see better looking (and faster) clouds floating by now that Senor Pininfarina has gone to the big design shop in the sky.

Re: Electrical Gremlin
I had the same experience recently and it turned out to be the ignition switch. I wired around it with a momentary starter switch and an on/off switch. Still have to use the ignition switch for the steering lock.

Thanks for keeping the site up-to-date Michael. It's much appreciated by me and I'm sure by many others who don't necessarily post frequently, as well as by core users.

A great place to drive your new GTV6 around the Blue Mountains. I used to go up there from Sydney when I was in Oz. Is the Paragon Cafe still going?

Re: Does it seem like this site is dying to anyone else?
I've only been in Albuquerque a couple of years and have not met Paul Grant.
Gordon Self (the Alfa Doc) used to run an Alfa shop here but closed it a year or so back. He still works on Alfas out of his house apparently.

Re: Does it seem like this site is dying to anyone else?
That's what I was thinking... maybe there are just fewer GTV6s around. Perhaps this is the lull before the storm though as the 25 year mark is now past and prices are beginning to climb (is that true?)....soon we will not be able to afford them. Greg would be in a position to know what the level of ...

Not Alfas but the sounds are great.
If you haven't seen this, you should take a look. A wonderful bit of film making but the changing motor notes are even better than the pictures. So what if they're Ferraris. Perhaps Alfa will be inspires to produce something similar? It's at: http://www.youtube.com/watch_popup?v=1_kwxzU4wL4&vq=m...

Ignition Switch Substitute
The 4 wire key switch on my 83 has become very tempremental and instead of replacing it entirely I was thinking of adding a toggle switch for power and a momentary for the starter. Am I correct in thinking that the red to the switch is power in, the brown is power out and the black goes to the start...

I seem to recall a post saying that the interior lights for a VW Rabbit fit in the GTV6.
