Zamani- We had a roll of carbon fiber fabric donated to the club, so we bought some general resin (not epoxy) because we didn't need a lot of strength in this application. We used a special (perfectly flat) table to lay down the pieces of carbon fiber then put on the resin by hand. Let dry 48 hrs, p...

Got one of the doors finished tonight with the carbon fiber skin. Hopefully now there won't be a torrent of water flowing into the cabin. And it looks pretty neat.

We get some pretty solid back firing on lift-off (or at rev-limiter in this case). Dual 2.5" exhaust with only 2 bends per side, no cat, 1 straight-through glass-pack style magnaflow (w/ integrated x-pipe). Close- reduced compression, ansa headers, greg gordon intake, aforementioned exhaust, an...

12V 3.0L dyno runs

Hi everyone- We made it to the dyno this afternoon and were able to dial out a lot of problems with our Go-Tech curves. The root of our troubles was a huge portion of the rpm range having too great of ignition advance which was causing major fluctuations in output power. With that ironed out and som...

Supercharged 3.0L map

Hi everyone,

We are getting very close (within 2 weeks) to finishing our MP90 supercharger kit. Is there anyone out there that has anything resembling a safe Go-Tech map for an MP90 supercharged 3.0L with 30 lb/hr injectors? I know it's a shot in the dark, but here's hoping...

RSAE Milano autocross video

Hi everyone, In light of our recent progress on the project and relative success with Go-Tech tuning, we decided that it would be fun to take our car to the Houston SCCA regional autocross on Sunday. This car hasn't been driven with any zeal since May 2006, and because we've made enormous and dramat...

How much hp 'til something blows?

Hi Everyone, We are in the midst of designing and installing an MP90 supercharger on a 3.0L. We have the ability to set it up to run enough boost to blow something up. The question we have been shopping around is: how much power can this drivetrain take before something fails? I know there are a mil...

Installed

Hi Everyone, I know this thread has been dormant for awhile, but I just ran across it and we installed a Wicked Cool in our race car last week. It wasn't exactly plug and play, but once we got started, it went pretty smoothly. The radiator is designed for a Chevrolet, so the outlets are close to the...
